Haven't you "escaped" yet? If you aren't happy in CA, then why not do something to change your position in life? A lot of us are very happy in CA and would not leave. It may not be your cup of tea, but there's nobody stopping you from leaving. Seriously, you are extremely negative and it gets really old after a while.

Nicely said! I'll leave when I'm good and ready... which isn't going to be anytime soon if I have a say in it. I LOVE California and couldn't see myself being happy anywhere else. Everyone can ***** and complain and go on and on about how it's too expensive, people are too stuck up etc etc, but when I drive over the Cuesta grade to work and see how absolutely stunning the green hills are, or when I take my dog for a jog in Montana De Oro and look at how breathtaking the ocean looks, I know I can't ever leave
