I agree with this 100%. I hate when people talk about what a great dancer she is. it's a lot of hip swinging and hair flipping BUT she puts on a great show.

Yes, and she honestly wasn't that good. I can understand people having a problem with her acting.
But her dancing is excellent. Period. In her Single Ladies video, I saw her move in ways I've never seen too many women move before. The only people I can think of right now that dance better is Janet and Ciara, and they're both extraordinary dancers, so that oughtta tell you something.

I will give her credit for working at it and improving...her dancing in DC's first video isnt very good.

I think she's good in roles that revolve around singing, similar to Whitney Houston. She was great in Preacher's Wife & The Bodyguard but fell flat in Waiting to Exhale. Beyonce was great in Fighting Temptations, Cadillac Records and Dreamgirls but was unbelievable in Obsessed.

Yeah her work ethic is what puts her in star status. She doesn't rest on good enough, I think she gives her best every time she touches the stage.

I couldn't find any acting scenes on you tube. But this was pretty expressive,,,,
The singing was just fine. It's the acting that wasn't good. She just isn't natural enough or convincing with her roles. Fighting Temptations is the only movie I "liked" her in. For some reason, she pulled that role off better than anything else she's ever done.

It was a nice video but it wasn't spectacular or groundbreaking. I think part of the reason it didn't wow me was because it was the last video she made so I wanted it to be GREAT and it was just a good video.
