I'm sure being pestered all the time for an autograph or whatever is sure to get on anyone's nerves. It's unfair to judge their entire character on one chance meeting.
Which is why I never ask for an autograph. Just a handshake tell's me more about a person. I usually say thanks for the entertainment, not being specific at all. How can one expect a celebrity to recall a moment in time that was only special to me? To them it was work, very hard work I'm sure.
So you didn't noticed the big fat hairy b@st@rd shaving on the other side of you?
Damn, I am bummed now...
jk
When I told this to people, some guys told me to look up the boondocks clip on youtube where a big guy intimidates a tiny guy and it's modeled after Terry Crews.
It's so scary coz I was in a similar situation LOL.

Youtube this - "boondocks soap drop scene"
You were in jail and dropped the soap? Is that why you got all big and ripped? Terry looks pretty ripped but I can tell he is not that tall, probably around 5'10"?
Well, if I was in that situation, I would use liquid soap instead cause I am too pretty for jail. I wouldn't last long.
Back to the topic, I do agree with those who stated that the bigger a star is, it seems less of an ego they have. I have met a few big ones and they were really low key and cool.
I have met several not-so-popular celebrities and you wouldn't believe their attitudes towards their fans. One snobby acting one I remember was Brian Thompson at Dragonfest more than a decade ago.
I had the booklet with all "expected" attendees' mug shots in it and normally they all sign those pictures without any hassle. I saw Brian Thompson and not particularly a fan but I said why not. I tried chatting with the guy and saying a few kind words but he didn't seem interested one bit. He had decent size signed pictures of himself on the counter in front of him when I asked for one, he said "$10" so I politely said "OK, then instead let me have your signature on your picture in this booklet please", he goes "$5!" So I said, "that is OK then, thank you anyway" and he immediately rolled his eyes and starting mumbling some words to the blonde next to him. Every other actor and martial artist/actor was super cool and giving away their large signed photos for nothing, chatting long time with their fans and this guy thought he was some hotshot. He wouldn't talk or give nothing for nothing. I don't know he seemed rude and disconnected all over, may be it was that day?
The funny thing is, some of the actors who played the good guys in the Mortal Kombat movies were not nice or friendly and those who played the bad guys were super cool and nice. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was really nice and chatty (partially trying to promote his clothing business out of Hawaii), very friendly in general. Chris Casamassa (Scorpion) was as nice as they come. Benny "The Jet" was a total gentleman and very intense.
