I heard it Monday & made the phone calls Monday. If you heard it Tuesday you heard it from a different source than I did.

I watched both conventions. The RNC tried to blame their train-wreck on last minute shuffling to condense 4 nights into 3. They were caught flat-footed by the FCC equal time law that predates TV. The Democrats did a great job & Charlotte came off well. Deal with it or not. That's your option.

What was being discussed involves the statement made by Obama's campaign manager on Tuesday and what came afterwards. I don't doubt that it was said earlier, but it had nothing to do with this discussion. Hence you conclusion related to it are incorrect if you were thinking of something else.

Why? The weather was clear that night and posed no danger at all. Brad Panovich, the weatherman on WCNC on Wednesday asked why they canceled the event when he tweeted that the weather on Thursday night promised to be the best of the week. (it was) Panovich caught a lot of heat for having said that, but then speaking the truth isn't allowed anymore as it interferes with the thought control.

Charlotte had big thunder on that Thursday afternoon even Dianie Sawyer talked about the big gusher
I posted that Thurday night around 7 and 8 Concord had thunder cell.
I check the radar around 1130 pm and there was a lot of green approaching Charlotte from Gastonia.
They made the best call for every one safety.

Many in this thread posted they had rain and I feel like we are just circling and circling with nothing useful being added
