CMPD can get gas through a private company in Charlotte if need be. So can the fire dept. I am not mentioning the name of the private company, but I used to work there, and know how big the tanks are, and how much they can store.
I used to purchase all kinds of fuel for the tanks.

Do you need diesel or regular? Diesel is available at two stations in Fort Mill right off 77 Gold Hill Rd exit.

You do realize this whole shortage was created by the government trying to set prices with the anti-gouging legislation? Energy policy to blame? LOL Anyone with a cursory understanding of economics understands what happens when you don't let the market determine the price (either surpluses or SHORTAGES). Eh, makes a lot more sense to wait in lines and drive all over town to find gas than to let the price of gas float huh? No instead we should ration fuel, or only open the stores during certain hours/days/etc.... LOL

Perhaps you should move to a country where the government's purpose is to "protect the people"... Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, all seem like a good fit for your values. Or just hang on a couple more years as the US government is almost there.

Seeing as I don't sleep much, I'm going to head out and hope to find a station near me.

I'll share if I find any gas.

Highland Creek Amoco has Regular @ $4.19 with no lines. Circle K Prosperity and Dearmon has no gas. Texaco down the Street on Prosperity & Mallard Creek has lines @$3.79. I wonder if price is starting to dictate where people get gas??? That could be a good sign for the immediate future.

I got gas at the Arboretum Shell at about 8:15 this morning. They must have had a delivery.
