The people who do that...do they think that the moment they identify themselves we'll instantaneously know who they are, that we'll travel to their house, break down their door and kick their cat?

If anyone negative comments me with a positive rep point, so long as the comment's a good, well thought out zinger, let me know who you are. Take a little credit for yourself (ves).
Agree. Most folks will state what they have to say in a post - really wimpy to do otherwise!

I've gotten a DM or two off of that forum that can only be labeled as "priceless".

Ohhh...I never even thought of doing that! The lengths some people will go to in order to try to bring others down. Good grief!

You know, I'll eat just about anything. I'm sittin' here watching a new episode of "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" profiling a place in Oklahoma City called "Cattleman Steakhouse" where they serve everyday for breakfast a plate of calf brains and eggs. And lamb fries. I don't know. That sounds like it'd be kinda hard to get down.

So I was just sitting here thinking about insects, spiders, fire ants and what not. My daughter got bit by a fire ant today and I found myself looking forward to the colder weather when you no longer have to deal with them. Then I starting wondering what happens to them. I had always assumed the cold kills them off but if that is the case then where to they come from once it warms up again. Anyone know?

mornin' all........g/k.....I think that the fire ants just burrow deeper into the soil since we really don't have a frost line here to hibernate for the winter. dunno.

Happily, that is the only time I have gotten a mean-spirited comment like that so I hope that for those who have rec'd that sort of lame put down, that this will be the only time. People who do that are really wimpy. If someone disagrees, they can post their disagreement w/o attacking the other person. I guess some folks get off on that kind of "hit and run" tactic!!!!

The funniest one I've recieved, was from a woman (well, at least her username indicated female gender ) in the Relationships forum.

Apparently something I said didn't jive well with her. So she sent me a Personal Message, where she attempted to insult me by calling me a few vulgar names and taking a few swipes at me. It was hilarious.

When I tried to respond to her PM, she had her settings set to "Only Friends Could PM" her. She blocked me out.

Talk about a hit and run...haha

Been busy....did a bit of traveling last month to look at a college & attend a Christening in CT....YES...we had some delicious pastries when we were there, lol. I've got the house all decorated for Halloween....watching the playoffs & hoping my Yankees make it to the World Series. Hope everyone's doing OK...I miss the daily chatter here
