After Geneva dominated yesterday's poll, Ill throw another one out there. This time its a little grittier. In the blue corner, we have Aurora, IL. Facing off against Aurora in the red corner we have Elgin, IL.

DING DING DING

FIGHT!

Hmmmm....If I had to pick I'd actually pick Aurora but would only live in a very specific area of the west downtown side. Not sure if Elgin has any quaint little areas. I'm not a subdivision/alum. siding type of house person so all the new stuff in Elgin is out. Ok, my vote is Aurora.

Aurora has Wayne's World, but Elgin has the company that makes those nifty street cleaners. It's a draw.

Elgin wins for me. Great housing stock near downtown. The cool bluff on the westside of the River overlooking the downtown.

I guess I need to check out Elgin a bit more. I rarely go there but perhaps I'm missing out on something
