If you believe this. you believe it's based on yourself, not God.

I believe God is in control in that he is drawing all men unto himself, and this he's been doing since the beginning.

Folks, we can all try and respect one another's opinion here, or the thread will end up getting closed, and June has no desire to have to close this or any other thread.

Thanks,

This is actually a lie of Satan, designed to keep people complacent and oblivious to God’s very purpose for man in this life: “That we enter into the eternal spiritual life and relationship God offers all through Jesus Christ. Sadly, many will refuse God’s offer and will not receive true life or enter into God’s eternal kingdom … now or forever.

While all people are naturally born into this world as God’s creation, only those who believe and trust God for true life in Christ Jesus … are ‘born again’ as God’s ‘adopted’ sons and daughters (through the indwelling power of God’s Holy Spirit). Those without Christ are not born again to Spiritual life and do not have the indwelling Holy Spirit. To them, the things of God are foolishness, because they are spiritually discerned (2 Cor 2:14-15) --- Jesus told Nicodemus (John 3), “Unless you are born again, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven” --- He did not say, “But, not to worry; if you are not born again, our ‘loving God’ is sure to make many exceptions.”

Just a few of many Bible passages that affirm our choice in this ‘adoption’ include: “Come out from among them … and I will be as a Father to you (2 Cor 6:17-18); “You are of your father the devil (John 8:44); “Those without the Son, have neither the Father or the Son” (1 John 2:23); “…that we might receive the adoption of Sons (Gal 4:5). There are many other examples, but, the bottom line is that spiritual rebirth and ‘adoption’ into God’s family is the only basis for spiritual life and relationship with God … in this life or the next.

Paul didn't say the same thing in Acts 17.

Sonship is certainly not everybody's calling. But God can raise up children unto Himself as He sees fit, so I don't think there's any point in telling others who's in or who's out...lest we find ourselves the ones who are on the outside.

Our command is to preach Jesus Christ; not to condemn others.

Condemnation is what the devil does.

Blessings,
brian

Yea and that is what Cyber ? A check list of all the right doctrines ?

He that loveth is born of God. If you have seen love you have seen God

Of cause anyone who believes in UR is incapable of loving their neighbor as themselves because they believe all the wrong doctrines

So, you have since left UR? Even your profile says you do still.

But to add to this little debate. No we are not all God's children.

NO, not one.
Thank you .sparrow for speaking the Truth about our loving Heavenly Father. To be Born Again, our souls must partake of the very Essence of God, or His Divine Love, which purifies and removes our sins through His highest Law, the Law of Love. It is this soul development that brings to our souls Divinity and Immortality and with it the knowledge that we are truly His children.

To those of His children who desire to not partake of His awesome gift, which it is free for the asking, by the way, they will eventually find their home in the next world in the natural love spheres where they will all be very happy and hell will cease to exist.

So, yes indeed, we are all God's Children and He loves each and everyone of us whether we are good, bad, or indifferent.

Blessing in Divine Love.
