More than resisted.. I wasn't aware. I was "out there," not knowing.
But the time came that He saved me from myself, and began to change me. Afterwards, He drew me and I heard. But it was all His doing, not mine.
I believe we're all God's children. The Bible tells us that we are "His offspring," and that He is the "Father of [our] spirits." We were created in His image, after His likeness. Some of us were not created in the image of someone else. Some of us are not the offspring of someone else. Some of us do not have a spirit fathered by someone else.

How can we be all God's children when Jesus Himself says we all are NOT??

The devil of course! I did ALL the deeds of my father, the devil, except for physical murder, yet still murdered in my thoughts. Evil beyond evil was I.
Until I was called OUT, and brought into His Love. I resisted for MANY years, thankfully not dying in that life. Otherwise I would have died the everlasting death.
But, now, I am an 'adopted' child of the Most High, now, coming INTO the Truth. Yet still a babe, but growing in Truth and Knowledge leading to Wisdom EVERY DAY!!

And what is this point? Even John the Baptist said:
"Therefore bear fruits in keeping with repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham."
Earthly fathers mean nothing. Spiritual father/Father mean EVERYTHING!
Why do you have to be this way? Do you really think that I am calling Jesus a liar? What kind of a person do you think I am? Why not just accept the fact that I am looking at this question from a different perspective than you are instead of making mean accusations like that?
