People will NOT give up the easy believism of just having to say the "magic words" and claim to believe the "right" things ABOUT Christ, pcamps. It is too comforting to be able to simply say your way to a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. Actually having to possess the inner conviction that drives you to try to "love God and each other" daily and repent when you don't is too burdensome for those who would simply be believers. That is why they claim that we are NOT able to follow Christ and BE as He was. That is also why they claim we are trash, "filthy rags," "pond scum" and other derogatory things. It eliminates the need to even try to follow Christ. But Christ is the WAY . . . a WAY has to be followed . . . NOT simply believed in! Believing a path will take you somewhere is pointless. If you do not follow the path . . . you will never get there.

Let me address the bolded (Did you add that later?)

Yes, we are under condemnation until we confess Jesus as Lord.

John 3

18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Romans 10

9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

A self condemned conscience Jimmie, not condemned to eternal hell.

That's not what I'm talking about and you know it (easy-believism). There is no such thing. You either believe and act upon it (new creation), or you're no better off than the demons (James 1).

What the heck is a self-condenmed conscience, what is your Scriptural authority for such?

I came not to condemn the world but to save it. So who is doing the condemning ?. The condemnation those are under who do not believe the truth that sets them free, is not coming from Jesus Christ.

God, the Father, or more precisely, His holiness. See verses 16 and 17. See also Romans 3:23.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Jimmie, it says nothing of the sort. Jesus Christ is the holiness of God and he said God did not send him to condemn the world. Or are you implying that God said to Jesus, leave the condemnation part to me ?.

Here's what it says:

18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

That verse has nothing to do with repeating a prayer. In those days many folks professed the ceaser's to be lords, even when thy did not believe it. Paul was making sure that the believers were not approaching Jesus in that manner. If they bow before Christ, they must believe. That verse is not a formula for salvation. Paul never mentioned it to the other churches because they did not have the issues the Romans did.
