Secular society has NOTHING to do with sin! Sin is strictly between each individual and whatever God they believe in, period. There is no role for sin in secular society. It is completely irrelevant. We are to focus on our own issues, not be busybodies in anyone else's. This seems particularly difficult for would-be dictators among the religious. MYOB!!!

Not quite. Secular society has no interest in or concern about sin. It is IRRELEVANT. Only your God cares about it, if He does, since He is NOT counting sins against you. There is no role for sin or concerns about sin in secular society, period.

Not really. That is criminal activity against citizens and secular society exists to deal with that, NOT sins against your God.

If this was by Islamists doing what they believe the Koran and Allah tells them to do than it has God involved. I see secular society is helpless to prevent it.

"Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance."
True wisdom, openly hears what others have to say. False wisdom closes its mind to other possibilities.
WRONG...
Truth is determined by harmony of Scripture.
False wisdom (like you comment above) contradicts harmony of Scripture.
The only measure of Truth is harmony of Scripture... this is Christian theology 101.
Any "knowledge" that does not harmonize with ALL SCRIPTURE (like your comment above)
is already proven to be untrue. Again, this is Christian theology 101.

Half of the posters on this forum do not believe in Christian theology, let alone the authority of Scripture, they follow only their own imaginary theology based on themselves. Your claim of Scriptural truth is sure to send them into a tizzy.
It is my contention that most christians fall short ,resting in compromised gospels men teach ,and will answer for on that day.
It is also true that the individual will still be held accountable for not being more serious about the relationship on their own.
False teachers are not an acceptable excuse, come judgment day.
John 15; 2Peter 2;2, 1John 4;1, Revelation 21;8,
The Lord explained that, within the Kingdom of Heaven, there are MANY (unsaved) tares
and there are FEW (saved) wheat. At any time in history, the vase majority of those
claiming to be "Christian"... are really unsaved tares. [Mat 7:21-23, Luke 13:24-30]
And that is why it is written:
MANY are "called" (by the Christian Gospel)
but FEW are "chosen" (to become saved)

You do not seem to understand the nature or definition of "sin"...
it is rebellion against the Creator - and it is not an offense to your "feelings"
or the norms of a society... just ask the inhabitants of Sodom.
