Believing is more than acknowledgment .
If you believe in the plane pilot you get in an go some where.
saying you believe, but never do, is superficial .
Devils know God is real better then you, they like many folk simply refuse to be subservient to God.
What makes your belief in God real ?

The Bible repeats important things, and this particular teaching is so important it is repeated some 200 times. There is no room for misunderstanding it. Whoever believes in Him is saved. It's that simple.

The enemy (Satan) wants you to believe the 200 repetitions is a lie, and he wants you to believe something else instead. He dangles one misunderstood, and out of context verse in front of your eyes and he says "ignore the rest and believe this, you shall surely not die". He said it before, and he also twisted scripture before in order to deceive.

They are entitled to believe what they want Miss H, but if they want to debate without reason the only chance you have of ever getting them to see their error is by the scriptures/bible they are captured by.

You started this debate.

You have been shown that Paul separated out those who actually believe Jesus. While salvation is available to all, it is not accepted by all. Those who reject Christ remain under condemnation, according to John 3. The whole of scripture shows clearly that universal salvation is false.

That is not debating "without reason".

Correct. The parable of the wedding feast is a good illustration of Jesus inviting all, but seeing many reject the invitation.

John 3;16,17,18,
"Remained condemned because they did not believe in the name of the only begotten son of God."

Just what I said. Paul preached the Gospel that Jesus is a potential savior to all men (not just Jews) and that he will save all that believe.
I'm sorry, I never knew Paul used the word "potential" when speaking of Jesus as a Savior of all mankind. Maybe you could point me to that verse?

Eusebius wrote:

Do you charge and teach God will have all mankind to be saved because Christ ransomed all (1 Timothy 2:4-6)? Do you suffer reproach? Or do you prefer the praises of parishoners over the praises of your Lord?

And do you charge and teach that God IS the saviour of all mankind, especially (not just) them that believe (1 Tim.4:10,11).
Quote:
Vizio replied:
The Bible doesn't teach that all will be saved. On the contrary, it specifically states that those that don't believe are condemned already.
Yes, of course those who don't believe are condemned already. They were condemned before they were even born due to what Adam did.
Rom 5:18 Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all mankind for life's justifying."

But look at that verse again. The same all mankind that get condemned due to what Adam did (Adam wasn't their *potential* condemner), is the exact same all mankind what will have their lives justified due to what Christ did. Fair is fair. If Adam can do it so can Christ. Or do you feel it would be unfair for Christ to be greater than Adam?

Eusebius wrote: You believe many other verses in the Bible and teach them. Why not believe God concerning these harder verses?

Vizio replied:
As I said...I do believe them. Specifically John 3:18. Is there a reason YOU don't believe it?
Here is John 3:18:
"He who is believing in Him is not being judged; yet he who is not believing has been judged already, for he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God."

I fail to see how that verse can trump God saving all mankind because Christ ransomed all mankind. I think you are reading too much into the word "judge."

Eusebius wrote: Oh, and Paul told Timothy to bring the parchments, ESPECIALLY the vellums. So did Paul only get the vellums?
Quote:
Vizio replied: Why would he? He specifically told Timothy to bring them all. He wasn't talking about the possibility of them being brought. Completely different context.
Hmm, let's see, a fallible human being can get what he wants if he wants his traveling cloak, the parchments, especially the vellums but the Almighty God is incapable of getting what He wants when it is stated already that He IS the Saviour of all mankind, especially of the believer? He is all mankind's Savior NOW whether they know it or not the same as He is the Savior of the believer.

When Jesus said:
"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
It's just a flat out lie to suggest that everyone who refuses-(ed) to believe God's promise will have eternal life universally anyways.

Those who didn't believe God's promise when Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness didn't have eternal life in him.... just as ..... those who do not believe God's promise about the Son of Man will not have eternal life.
