Interesting because one historian calculated that out of all the people Jesus talked with that only 1% followed him.
Someone running for office today and only got 1% of the votes would Not be elected.
I wonder what percentage of the world was washed away in Noah's Day.
So, it seems to me God is more interested in quality than quantity.

We did the walk through of our haunted house, which is open ONLY on Halloween night to neighborhood trick or treaters. We let a private party go through, mainly so that we could get a list of fails that need to be corrected by Wednesday.

so far the number is 9 things we need to correct, which is not as bad as we had expected*

The neighbors have said they like the way the neighborhood decorates, and the one next door says she loves the way we go "ALL OUT" for Halloween, making it the most fun stop of the night.

What I still find funny, DECADES after the fact, is that while I grew up in a church that discouraged and even in some ways FORBADE Halloween, I now spend more $$$ on Halloween than I do on any church or Christian organization.
Lesson to Christians: Do not be your own worst enemy, lest you drive those away who may later in life have the ways and means to support you, but choose not to.

*Unexpected, the damage of our animatronic "jumping spider" which does not seem to want to jump anymore

No more flood as promised in the Rainbow Covenant found in the 9th chapter of Genesis.

What will reach those who are against God are the 'executional words from Jesus' mouth' to destroy the wicked.

- Isaiah 11:3-4; Rev. 19:14-16; Psalm 92:7; Proverbs 2:21-22.

Oh yeah. I definitely believe that Jesus had a sense of humor.

There is a promised flood coming, it even has a date, Jesus talked about it, and it is promised to come, it is the flood of rain promised, only it isn't water.

He will say on that day, "the devil tricked you, now come, and I will treat you to all that is heavenly."
