My book came yesterday.. I only got up to the first chapter, then I had to play hide and seek and read about "Good night, Little Bear" and the color kittens and Baby Moses. Fascinating book. Can't wait to read more and discuss!
I also got The Untold Story of the NT Church by Frank Viola..Goes right along with Pagan Christianity. Then I I just had to get Unchristian (what a new generarion thinks about christianity..and why it matters) by David Kinnaman..

You mean you want to also discuss "Good Night, Little Bear".. I think we can do that
I'm in! I bought the book as well as "The Untold Story of the New Testament Church." Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with everyone. I have six kids and work full time from home in the evenings so may be a little slower getting through the book than everyone else. Excited to read it, though!

The only one that would probably be of interest to others on this forum is titled The Irrational Atheist. It's written by Vox Day. I've been intrigued by this book ever since I read a blog review by an atheist who said he couldn't shoot holes in the information presented in the book. That blogger was hoping some of the "big gun" atheists would be able to find the chinks, but he was rather skeptical that they would.

This may be a good book for discussion..We do have some "big gun athiests" here who I believe could have a good same , friendly discussion on the book..The other discussion we had last summer went really well between the athiests and the believers
