It's simply not possible for NY to win every single poll, no matter how hard that is for some of you to handle.
I do not expect NY to win every poll. But Minnesota? What exactly does Minnesota have over NY? As arrogant as it may seem, lets realize the facts.

How does that diminish their quality? If the OP was about inland lakes only, then MN would be the obvious choice, but it wasn't. MI is winning because of the fact it touches 4 out of 5 Great Lakes. Mackinac Island and Isle Royale are better than anything in MN or WI.

That was directed at PR or anyone who voted for Michigan.

MI shares every Great Lake with another border -- Superior (MN, WI and Canada); Huron (Canada); Michigan (IL, WI and Canada?); and Erie (OH, Canada).

Again, Michigan has a legitimate leg in this argument, so I can't disagree.

Kiddie pools. A 3 foot deep puddle in a prairie is not a lake.

Perhaps you should visit to find out. It certainly doesn't resemble what you have stated. And yes - you are coming across as arrogant.

I'm going to go ahead and turn the tables - what exactly does New York have over Minnesota?

Again with the prairie crap. You should really not speak on subjects you know absolutely nothing of.

Get out there. Travel a little. There is a whole lot more to the country than NY and South Florida.

Lake Winnebago in WI is the second largest natural fresh water lake in the US.

30 miles long. 10 miles wide.

Great, we'll be sure to leave a porch light on. Hey Yuri, when you get to the border keep heading West for another 2,000 miles and you'll be right where you need to be.
