What is your favorite particular lake?

Mine is Lake Champlain (Vermont/New York)

Deepest yes, largest no. Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and Georgian Bay are actually a single body of water, in fact, they form the largest single body of freshwater on earth area in terms of water area.
