I guarantee there are lakes in MN that are too polluted, or too overgrown with lake weeds, or where the ground is too mushy to walk on, etc.

Other than manmade lakes, what kind of lakes don't have fish living in them?

Same with all of these other states. Municipal boat landings were not a MN invention.

Strange opinion.....so by your definition that humility = fakeness and weakness, and that New York is "too humble", then you would agree that New York is too fake and weak?

By the way that was sort of a joke, on you, since you seem to boost everything New York is/does, that I was thinking you'd come back at me and say New York is more humble or something....and you did. Thanks!

I would not disagree that NY has some of the best lakes in the country. However smacktalking, closed mindedness, and arrongance are very big weaknesses. Why even ask a question when one doesn't even give an oppurtunity to answer? Hardly a valuable contribution. It gives NY a bad name and I know NY is better than that.

Great Leaks are Ugly. Minnesota has some ugly Lakes. Utah, and Vermont lakes from the picture are much more beautiful. Best lakes, Hmmmmm Alaska hands down in terms of beauty, usage, and living. the Lower 48 is a toss Up.

A lot of NY has become fake and weak. I remember in Brighton Beach in the 90s you knew your limitations. Now in NY you can start trouble with whoever you want and 99% of the time they will not do anything about it. So yes, being too humbly soft on yourself is being soft on others, and that is weakness because it creates a sissy.

And Florida is a swamp. It's all a matter of opinion.

I personally am glad you have such a dislike for the Great Lakes region. Means you'll stay the hell away, and nobody will have to deal with your childish attitude in person.

Use to live in Central Florida. Orlando had a few decent lakes but people were warned not to let their dogs, much less themselves swim in them because they were infested with amoebas that would eat your brain. Somebody must not have got the message to Fryboy, that's too bad as it was in all the papers.

orphaned quoted

It's okay, their lakes are flat, swampy, AND frozen. They have triple the nuisance.
