LOL Do your magic lakes in NY have hills in them? All lakes are flat. And none of the lakes around here are the least bit swampy. Let alone the Great Lakes. You are showing your ignorance of the area.

Missouri has some VERY nice lakes. I've had some good times fishing Lake of the Ozarks on vacation with a couple friends before.

This has been an interesting read, but it fell apart in the last few pages. Is it possible to get back on topic and respect others opinions and back them up with facts if they are wrong?

We have great lakes, but when everyone is arguing here, we are enjoying them

Folks.. get back on the original topic. Insulting other members is not allowed. Please report posts rather than joining in the arguing.

Be civil, no personal attacks, flaming, or insults. We may attack ideas (politely) but we do not attack the speaker of the idea. Be careful with your words, there is a point where being direct crosses a line into blunt, in-your-face hostility. Please, report bad posts instead of engaging in flame wars on the boards. Insulting another member or a moderator will not be tolerated anywhere on this website. This includes Direct Messages and Reputation Comments.

Plus, a real lake has algea and seaweed, hopefully the NY ones do too -- it's healthy for marine life.

Is your sole purpose for being in this thread for smacktalking and insulting Minnesota (even though you clearly know very little about it) or do you actually have something worthy to contribute here?
