New York is 8th and it is likely due to the big population/high percentage(highest outside of the South/on par with many in that region), as well as having its share of middle class neighborhoods/communities with above average to predominant black percentages. This is in spite of its business climate reputation, which has improved a little bit.

What is the point of all this? Dc is very popular because most government jobs go to minorities. ATL is popular because of all the black rappers living there.

ATL shouldn’t be popular because a bunch of trap rappers live there. That’s an ignorant thing to say honestly. Most of those rappers represent the slums of the A

Wow New York managed to get top 10 spot?

But honestly the diversity of the black population helps here.

Actually I almost called it BS because Maryland didn’t make top ten but then I realized most people boast about black people actually working high paying government jobs in Maryland.

Most of the blacks I saw in seattle were either homeless ppl downtown or African immigrants on the south side.

Calling it a black mecca is laughable especially when you've spent time in cities like Memphis, Atlanta, Charlotte etc. Are there black ppl in seattle, of course there are but it's not a "black mecca" in the United States. Might as well start calling Salt Lake City the capitol of black America while at it.
Yea man the Northwest in general is very white

Oklahoma at 6 and Alabama a disappointing 32. Those were surprises.
