In case you didn't know live music period is huge in New Orleans it's only the home of Louis Armstrong and several other jazz greats and the birthplace of Jazz. They were playing and listening to live music in lots of bars all over New Orleans every night over 100 years ago and still do.
I know that. I'm talking about bounce music. Jazz is only live so that is everywhere. I'm talking about upbeat turn the club out music like GoGo, Crunk, New Orleans Bounce etc. which GoGo is the only form that I have heard of being live. That is why I asked.
I dun read every last page of this back and forth foolishness and I could careless because both have black folks partying better than most areas but to slander GO Go like that......man tell that to my folks from Bangor, Maine!
I do agree that Atlanta seems to have an edge in large-scale events with a significant social component, like college-oriented events (tournaments, Battle of the Bands), award shows, etc. DC does better in terms of urban nightlife districts and venues catering to a more mature and professional clientele IMO.
