DC is an alpha world class city. What are you blabbering about? It's not in the same tier with Atlanta, Houston and definitely not Dallas.... smh.

Alpha− world cities: Miami, Seoul, Dublin, Jakarta, Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Zurich, New Delhi, Munich, Boston, Warsaw, Vienna, Atlanta, Barcelona, Bangkok, Istanbul, Taipei, Johannesberg, Washington, San Francisco, Stockholm, Prague
Before you attack you should probably get your facts correct.
Somebody could ask if DC proper has more in common with NYC or Birmingham, AL in population demographics. The answer would be Birmingham, AL. See how easy that was? Very specific instruction for three cities that have nothing in common structurally but can be compared. That is very similar to this thread with three cities that have nothing in common structurally, but can be compared.
But he never specified JUST structurally. In which case D.C. does have similarities that narrow it down somewhat. You and others are so focused on density and the built environment whereas it should not be because it should not even have to be debated that obviously Atlanta and DC share very little in its built environment and still no one has said anything to suggest otherwise.
SMH are you serious right now? Of course DC is an Alpha world class city. Before you go blabbering again like you know everything there is the study and link right above. DC is before San Francisco too.
Great, thanks. NOW. I want you to do everyone a favor. Look at the link you yourself just posted. Read off the names from the Alpha - category. I see Washington in there. You're right, it is an Alpha city.
BUT.
Do you see Atlanta listed in the EXACT SAME TIER?!
Do you see that, Deluusions?
Can you see - on the EXACT same link you posted - that Atlanta is in THE EXACT SAME TIER AS D.C.?
Do you see that? Here, I'll post it again for you.
The irony is that I was infact correct..... awkward.
No. You were not. Please see the above post.
Awkward indeed.
