Waco... The Quad Cities don't appeal to me. Waco has Baylor, warmer weather, and is just an hour and a half from Dallas and Austin.
Las Vegas, NV or Tucson, AZ?
Las Vegas has 2 pro sports teams now (Knights and Raiders) but Tucson has the Pac 12 team (Arizona Wildcats). I will give the edge to Tucson because I like the Arizona landscape

Gary for sure. Gary does have a beach and some nice neighborhoods...some. Also being close to Chicago really helps out.
Springfield, OH or Hopkinsville, KY?
Springfield... 30 min from Downtown Dayton and 45 min from Downtown Columbus. Slightly more populous city/county with seemingly a little more going on in the region. Not a huge fan of KY in general.
Troy, MI or Troy, NY?
