Clayton, it's the affluent side of the Lou with some beautiful homes and near Forest Park which is my favorite area in STL.

I would rather kive in Lake Oswego. It looks like the city/town itself (forgetting Seattle/Portland) is a bit bigger and probably more convenient. I also really love Portland. It's an urban planner's dream compared to say, Raleigh or Charlotte or Atlanta. Seattle is no slouch at all, though.
