It just is what it is; that's not necessarily a bad thing. The vast majority of cities aren't party cities. That doesn't mean they are lacking in nightlife or aren't otherwise great places to live.

I, mean, you're speaking on something that you've never experienced in one city. Houston turns up too much for me.

Dude, Houston is not generally considered a party city for Blacks, or even in general; this is a pretty broad consensus. I don't know why that bothers you so much. Again, that doesn't mean it doesn't have a healthy nightlife scene or doesn't offer something for everyone in terms of nightlife. It doesn't help your cause to make Houston into something that it's not.

Damn, it's like Houston is always sold short on this forum. From downtown to urbanity to walk ability to black culture to food to economy. Then, you have folks that don't even live here that think they know soooo much about Houston. And when you try to tell the non-natives what it really is, they say otherwise. Like wtf?! I'm glad real life Houston is muuuucch better than CD Houston. CD Houston would be a hellhole.

I don't have to live there to know what the general consensus is, or to know intuitively that Houston doesn't have as much as Atlanta in terms of nightlife based on the simple numbers--and that's not selling Houston short in any sense. If what you were saying was so factual and plainly obvious, you wouldn't be out on this limb alone like you are.

You still can't go by that because I've gotten hella rep points for educating y'all on black Houston.
