I just have this made up standard of covering cities with at least a $30 billion GDP. Any city below that I don't check for, but it's not a slight on Jackson!
Even 79 is still way low, miami dade (including miami) only 79 homicides for 2.7 millions people...?
Did Miami became very safe or all homicides are now counted as justified/self defense/stand your ground...?

34 for East St.Louis.....St.Louis city is up to 192 . Those cities have some serious murderous tendencies.

ESTL is consistently ranked the most dangerous city in America when you start to include small cities under 100,000. Last year its murder rate was 100.3/100k. If it was in the list of top 50 cities with highest murder rate in the world, it would rank 2nd when comparing its 2017 numbers.
