OMG Jacksonville, FL!! I can't stand that freaking city. Every time I go there it's so plain and boring and kind of ghetto too. I would have preferred living in Jacksonville over Tallahassee when I used to live there but I think they are both equally plain janes. North Florida in general is just blah...

I was in Jacksonville for the Super Bowl (the one the patriots cheated in) and was quite dissapointed in the city. But honestly I am not sure I would consider it a large city.

Of the cities I consider large I would have to go with Pheonix and Houston; but I base this on the downtown and all places have things to do and can be fun even if more spread out. I even had fun in Jacksonville (well up until the 4th quarter anyway)...

In my opinion, Phoenix should offer more considering its size, but in all my visits Ive never been bored there. What Phoenix has going for it isnt its nightlife per se, but rather what you can do outdoors. Hiking, biking, golfing, camping, etc. The Phoenix area is some of the best for that.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, if you cant find something to do in a metro area of 4 million, something is wrong.
Phoenix does have beautiful surroundings, and it's while it doesn't have the quantity of nightlife like Vegas, LA, NYC, Miami, Scottsdale does have the quality, and these people don't look bored to me. A tidbit of Scottsdale:

Ha! You sure it didn't have to do with McNabb puking his nuts off on the final drive? Nice try though.

Enjoy sucking again this year.
