But if the average person in Florida works in the service industry and the themeparks(like you always say), then wouldn't this HELP them?

How would a train that travels from Disney to Tampa help the Orlando people that work at Disney?

A look at the horrible economic conditions of one of the biggest union states, MICHIGAN. Yeah unions were great for Detroit.

High speed rail is not suppose to be for cummuting. That is what light rail is for, and many cities in Florida are working toward building light rail aswell. Plus, if High speed rail helps tourism, than that helps Florida and that helps the average Floridian, including "the average cummuter". Even if it is not helping them commute.

If they were building a high speed rail from Philly to the Jersey shore, I'd bet you would be in favor of it.

Then why should Floridian and US tax dollars be used to finance it. Let Disney and the other theme parks pay for it.

Like I said, If the same train was being built near you, you would be in favor.

If you bothered to do any research, you would see there will only be one stop in a theme park. And plans are to eventually run it to Miami.

We already have a train (Atlantic City Line) that goes to the shore. So no I would not be in favor of having Federal tax dollars expecially from other states being used to build another train.

So if tax payers paid for that line, then why shoudn't Florida have a line of its own. Do you believe Florida does not deserve the same things the Northeast does?
