yep - the Bucks beat the Ducks 42-20. It was a great game. My wife and I watched it sitting in Cronies Sports Bar in Hilo, HI. Needless to say, most of the folks were rooting for the Ducks since their QB was Hawaiian.
Good times.
I was viewing a youtube video stating that the "O" in Oregon stands for the amount of national championships they've won.
Although the committee's own criteria says they're not supposed to incentivize margin of victory.
(And Urban has even admitted he ran up the score.)
FSU COULD have (and I am not saying they would have been able to, but they had an opportunity if they wanted) to score TD's at the end of both UF and Louisville games. Would that have made a difference? It SHOULDN'T because they are not supposed incentivize margin of victory as you said. But it is impossible for them to not confuse that with the eye test.
The committee has always done what they wanted, it is just usually what they wanted to do was not as erroneous as it was this year.
State of Florida, on behalf of FSU, is preparing to sue the CFP/ESPN/SEC. They are one and the same... which is part of the problem. This should be getting more attention.

Bill Hancock, the chairman of the CPF responded: "We will carefully review this demand for information, but it sure seems to be an overly aggressive reaction to a college football ranking in which some fans somewhere were bound to be disappointed."
This is not about fan disappointment. This is about collusion between the CPF and the TV networks.

Exactly!
Oh, ok.... so they are going to go that rout......Golly gee wilikers, we are basically just playing tiddlywinks here... what is all the fuss about? Really?
OMG... the gall involved. This game of "tiddlywinks" involves hundreds of millions of dollars... some of it taxpayers. Of course there are going to be ramifications and repercussions. To the mattresses with them (ESPN/CFP/SEC)!
Will you come back here and say FSU should have been in when we win?
The issue is thst I do think UGA is still one of the top teams. In fact, I would have a CFP of:
Washington
UGA
FSU
TEXAS
Call me a homer all you want, but what I saw from that team said it all. They can, would, and will play/hang with any team in the CFP. Honestly, overall UGA is the only one I would not take straight up. But I think this team will be pissed and come out to play.
Yeah that's a good Top 4. Michigan might be better than Texas, but they should be disqualified anyway.
No reason to think we can't beat Georgia.
