I don't think the article is exactly saying that. It's saying that there will be a project eventually, and they are putting pressure on LWLP to sh$! or get off the pot.

There will be another music or performance venue downtown. My money is on the College Street Music Hall folks. They've done an amazing job with that venue.

I would say most definitely, as a single town/city. Certainly has the most from a quantity standpoint

Yes. Both quality and quantity. Union League may be best resto in the state, the city's craft cocktail scene pushes the envelope, and of course there's NH's legendary Apizza scene.

Westport on the rise with chefs like Bill and Jeff Taibe, Brian Lewis, Carlos Biaz, bolstered by the hometown presence of CTBites, probably the most influential culinary blog in the state.

Per capita, New Canaan and West Hartford have great chops for small towns. Simsbury coming on.

Stamford enjoys ethnic diversity, from Ethiopian to Korean to Indian to Australian. Finally 3 new noodle shops. And the downtown T area sports over 80 different restaurants, though none boasts exquisite dining.

Hartford and Greenwich disappoint.

And then there's those unpretentious sea food shacks along CT shoreline above New Haven (Lobster Lane) that shine with the sun each summer. I contend our indigenous warm, buttery lobster rolls even outrank Pizza as Connecticut's iconic food.
