It will interesting to see how this shakes out given that half of CT thought the world was coming to an end when these bozos left for beloved Boston. Might be all moot.

It is the summer time and these states (except MA) have a lot of tourist jobs. Can you post these same stats in say November. I would be curious to see how they pan out.

So it's the exact same as the national rate.

FWIW that's below most measures of what's considered "full employment"

It is very hard to put a happy face on this. Connecticut loses another 100 jobs last month bringing total losses for the year to 4,000.

Actually Connecticut is under the national rate now. And yes, it is well under what is considered to be full employment. Jay

Every man woman and child could have a job and 0% unemployment yet... there will still be complaints that the job growth rate isn't national average...

Tied with Rhode Island, barely ahead of PA, and 5 other nearby states doing better. Even New Jersey doing better.

We are doing better than North Carolina, Maryland and Nevada; are the same as Georgia; and aren’t that much higher than Texas, Florida and Tennessee. Jay

Accurate. But there’s an accuracy problem with comparing very large states vs very small states. Comparing metro vs metro would make more sense. E.g. New Haven vs Raleigh metro; Stamford/Bridgeport vs Charlotte metro, etc.
