The app actually seems to be used by a lot of bored passengers, which is awesome, they get points for reporting things, they have nothing better to do etc.. teens seem into it as well.

Lately it's been a great add on to a radar detector.. you can see the officer way in advance on the map.. then the radar detector verifies he/she is there when you get closer!

News 12 should hire me to sit there and report for them from home!

typical drivers..

people need to be more careful out there!
That last pic looks like Lexington Ave.

12:15 Radar and temp update:

Sunny skies over Nantucket 49°F
Ice over Hartfords 31°F
Heavy Rain around NYC 35°F

That is a healthy swath of precip falling. once again... this could of been a snowstorm and this would of been a 8-12" one. If only the mid levels didn't warm up!

Radar and Metar Animation 7:30am to 1pm every 30 minutes.

Some areas like Danbury & Hartford reported ice for 4.5hrs. just changed to rain.

True in some ways but if it was a work day they would've been out salting and sanding at 4am......I actually think part of why it is such an icy mess is because it's a Sunday morning......

I was out and noticed MOST roads are fine but Untreated walkways/driveways and even back roads have ice on it still.

140 Miles apart. One location with ice/rain all morning/day and one location where it hasn't rained and been sunny all morning/day.
