Lol plus you've got like 100 little WOW (whites of windsor) wanna be gangstas running around the school acting like tough guys, and like 40 kids who think they're going to all be NBA stars someday Windsor is indeed a puzzling one on the list, I overlooked that.

In 2005, Glastonbury High School had 1,938 students. Smith Middle School currently has 1,200 students which is the most it has ever had. I do not think GHS will be up to 2,400 students for a couple of years yet.

Greenwich and West Hartford Schools perform well above the state averages on the Connecticut Mastery Tests. Their high schools also perform well over the state average on the Connecticut Academic Performance Test with Hall High School performing better than Conard. Windsor schools perform under the state average on the Connecticut Mastery Tests and significantly under the state average on the Connecticut Acedemic Performance Test. Saying it is one of the best in the state does not make sense given their test results. Jay

And whose metrics did they go by to determine that Central HS in Bridgeport is better than Greenwich HS?

Actually if you read the article carefully you'll see that test scores are adjusted by circumstance - so all things being considered equally.

First, we measured how each school's students performed on state tests, adjusting for student circumstances. We next evaluated how well each school's disadvantaged students did. Finally, we looked at whether the school was successful in providing college-level coursework.
