Feb 2015

The developer just bought a washed up excavations companies equipment/building. My thought is that they did this so they have the control over the earth work which is critical. If they had to go out to bid it would take a much longer time before a shovel hit the ground.

The City's Planning and Zoning Commission just approved the project last week. Jay

Hartford.Gov - Hartford North Park

Anyone notice how it doesn't mention the baseball stadium?

Why should it? The study for the Master Plan began long before the idea of a baseball stadium even became a possibility of being real. The key to any good Master Plan is flexibility and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a city. This is a classic case of that. I am pretty sure though that the rest of the project is in line with this so I see no issues. Jay

Enter to name team suggestions on About . I picked the name to be the Hartford Dark Blues because it was the city's first professional baseball team and it should follow the traditional name it was once.
