Yeah the low pressure center has just made it out into the ocean and is now going to start pivoting north. It is just starting to pick up moisture from the ocean. Look at the thunderstorm/heavy rain off the Maryland coast. The rapid intensification will start now and the precip sheild should start to fill in and just start cranking precip into the mainland. Need to wait for the low to head north and reach maybe NJ before we know if it's on track or not.

Bands are now making a west motion through eastern CT....

Yes, pity that New London is not one of the NWS reporting stations. Would be interesting to see how intense that green band really is.

You can check CT DOT traffic cameras here to get some visuals from around the state and obviously road conditions. Interesting to see relatively up to date images although may be hard to see some areas since it's night right now.

I'm not too far from New London - it's snowing pretty heavily here, and it's pretty windy, but nothing too serious yet. That said, if my addition is correct, weather.com has my town of East Lyme down to 8-14" total for this storm.

I agree. The storm is just starting. Look at the radar. Its going to snow practically into Weds. Lol.
