The state need to attract more high tech business by changing business rules so it fair enough for everyone and state benefits from it also. The state need $500 million investment to transform New Haven, Bridgeport, Hartford, Waterbury like Mass got Boston, NY state got NYC and it surrounding areas.

Transportation impacts everyone in our state. Without a good well funded transportation system, how will our state attract and grow business? Stefanowski has not proposed any improvements to funding so the state will likely keep the current bandaid approach. To me that is unacceptable. At least Lamont has a plan. Jay

Stefanowski really won't seem to answer any other question then those about cutting taxes. It's kind of weird at this point.

I agree. He seems to be overly cautious about what he says. It might go against his promises to not raise taxes. You can’t promise to cut taxes and eventually eliminate the income tax AND increase funding to fix and improve infrastructure. Actually he seems to be no longer boasting about eliminating the income tax. Haven’t heard him say that in a while now. Jay

Watching the debate... interesting watching how they react to Oz. Stefanowski ignores him completely, while Lamont keeps complimenting him.

The lighting is terrible, also.

"I never ran against a Republican"
poor Alan Schlesinger...

Liked Oz plan about the ports. Good outside of the box thinking.

The debate was too short of time tonight. With 3 people on stage it was hard to get enough time for each of them to make points and counterpoints. Why not give more time ? 90 minutes would be perfect.
Oz and Lamont both want tolls. Stefanowski is the only viable candidate for the state's future. We can not have Dannel Malloy term 3. Lamont is a tax and spend liberal. He won't make any meaningful cuts to bloated budgets and programs. Taxes will go up again just like during Malloy's 8 years. We can't survive the same horrible policies going forward. Stefanowski might not be a perfect Republican candidate but he is different than Lamont. Time for change in Connecticut. Republican's taking control of the legislature would be the most meaningful change we could make. 40 years of Democrat control is enough.

Stefanowski isn't going to fix any thing don't pin any hopes on him. Lamont would actually get more accomplished. Also don't forget that Malloy the dino laid off 2,800 state employees in his 8 years. Not bad for a democrat.

If you love cutting Govt so much you should be praising Malloy and asking him to run again.
