Thanks! Yeah, the flakes are flying in some areas. at the airport in Danbury they are reporting a mix right now. BDL showing light snow.


Waterbury was snow but now a mix.

So.......


February had 11 days over 49°. Tied for most.
March had 6 days only. 8th least.


March and April combined have 9 so far.


WTF?

Yes, actually. Unstable weather like this is in part because of warming global temperatures. There's a reason why we get freak storms once every two years these days.

For the period of March 1st to April 10th, only 1 year had less number of days above 49°F at BDR...


This hasn't happened since 1975. Only 1956 had less. I am impressed at the ability to stay under 49° for so many days this spring. I thought would be harder to happen now a days but I wonder if the Low Sun output is having an affect





Past few summers have had some tolerable months and little heat wave stretches.. Wonder if this yr will be another.
