NBC

A mistake? How do you make a mistake about being in a helicopter that wasn't hit by enemy fire and forced to land? Then he has the gall to claim he was trying to honor service men and women when all this guy was trying to do was honor himself.

He is IMO despicable and should be shamed publicly. Now lets not drag out the names of others because this isn't about anyone else but Brian Williams ok? He is a journalist who is supposed to report facts, not fabricate lies to make himself important.

He is a shameful person, not worthy of reporting on the results of a dog race let alone the news. He has forever proven he can't be trusted.

There is no way he made a mistake, how could that be? Could you be a hour behind a car accident and then mistakenly remember that you were in the car that got hit? Really?

He should be fired for lying to the public. Case closed for me.

How many times has he reported on lies that others have told? Now here he is, telling one of the most disgraceful lie of all, taking glory for himself that he never even came close to experiencing and dishonoring all those who served in combat.

Notice how quiet this is being kept?

It's not being kept quiet in the least. I heard about it on NPR this morning. It's just being released because he JUST apologized for it last night on air.

Well the liberal media isn't about to expose one of their own. He should be fired. But NBC being what it is, he will probably get a pay raise.

Disgusting.

Why should anyone be outraged that he lied. He's a journalist...they all lie. They're just media puppets anyway.

I don't think he's "despicable", I just think he is stupid. He has lost all of his credibility now, so he might as well retire.

Maybe he is just following Dan Rather? Sooner or later most if them fall the long fall. He's a weasel.
