Aww, too bad. I really wanted to understand how an officer can tell a fake injury from a real one.
It's called ESP: Extra Sensory POLICE. These special police can determine fake injury from a real one with a glance or even the sound of a person's voice when they are moaning or screaming out in pain (fakers).
It's a skill these ESP's acquire after just a few encounters with scumbags. From then on, they KNOW, that all scumbags, aka skells, aka criminals, are all:
fakers
liars
guilty (because they ran and have been arrested)
drug users
wife beaters
child abusers
alcoholics
thieves
no good
deserve whatever happens to them including abuse and/or death from said "fake injuries"
Because, after all, if they aren't guilty this time, they were guilty sometime or will be sometime in the future. Proactive crime prevention at it's best.

I think this is a burn out condition of doing the same job, in the same neighborhood for too many years. They don't think everyone, even an alleged criminal should be given humane treatment and handled with dignity.
Hope Freddie Gray's horrendous death will change this with all LEO's nationwide.
Michael Brown died because he tried to disarm and kill, or seriously injure a police officer. Eric Garner died because he resisted arrest, even though he had several pre-existing medical conditions. Zimmerman, who was not white (despite what the national news media originally reported) was NOT a police officer; he was a security guard. The media suppressed medical reports that proved how badly Zimmerman was injured. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we're not entitled to make up our own facts.

Oh really? So he was American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander ? Because those are the only racial categories, other than white.

GZ has no place in this situation.
Just a slight correction, if you don't mind, he was a Neighborhood watch volunteer and no medical reports were suppressed due to GZ not getting any medical back up for his 'severe' injuries.
I do agree with the not making up your own facts.
