Well this explains the "get another dog at the pound" statement!
A guy hit a dog and my husband saw the whole thing, the guy never even tried to avoid the dog. When my husband and he got out at the same stopping stop, the guy's reply "oh well! "Dogs are at the pound for $25.00!" For one a person can not purchase a dog for $25.00 and who the hell are you people to abuse dogs and then tell the owner to get another one?
This kind of thinking is borderline psychotic and disturbing to say the least.
Dogs actually are very smart and do react to humans that are borderline psychotic. I have worked around dogs all my life. I have worked for Veterinarians, Humane Societies and helped with many rescues, most of the time dog attacks on adults, are usually due to the person not being right to begin with.
Dogs owners, many times, are some of the most selfish people....and delusional about their mutt's magnificence and brilliance.
I have been out, walking and minding my own business.....and an unleashed poop-eater-animal comes charging at me, snarling and teeth bared. This has happened on more than one occasion. And the
poop-eater-animal's owner have placed the blame on ME.
One lady said her dog was....UHHH, able to sense that I meant her harm, and I had "turned her dog into a guard-dog". This was after I deliberately walked away from the lady and her poop-eater-animal, who was walking towards me, when I came to a split in the trail. The unleashed poop-eater-animal was about 100 feet away from me when it decided to charge at me.
Dog owners....your dog does not have brilliant extra sensory perception, it cannot read peoples minds. Your poop-eater-animal is just over-reacting to what should be a nonstimulating occurrence.......just like when it screams its head off, for hours on end, at nothing.

Okay I can't argue with you here. My experience is walking in the woods, my shepherd is inline behind me and from 300 yds away a lady yells, HEY! "I am afraid of German Shepherds can you get your dog back!" Sure lady why the hell are you in the woods if you are afraid of German Shepherds!
I think we can agree we have dog owners and people who don't care for dogs over reacting. I for one think way to many people own dogs that should have picked a doll instead.
What is sad many men feel this way.......even women are starting to say this.
This to me is a symptom of the increasing coldness and meanness of people, no life has value anymore. They may try to say they care about people, but that is obviously not true because all these dogs were loved and their owners in pain, and they couldn't care less.
