I totally agree with you. She is indeed a horrible person and should have been Incarcerated for at least 5 years. Justice most definitely wasn't served here. The innocent wife missed getting raped by chance. I'm not buying the sleep deprivation argument and feel zero sympathy for the whole subtle excuse of having a disabled child. Evil woman.
Just wow! I remember this case in SD. I couldn't believe it when I heard it but the real estate market is crazy in SD so I figured crazy people have to buy houses too.
I feel so sorry for that couple, what a nightmare. I can't believe she didn't get any time for this but they are loosening the laws a bit lately plus she is the only provider for her handicapped child. I hope she stays with the psychologist. I hope she gets some sleep. lol
Creepy that she moved just a mile from them. If I were them I'd move but like I said, easier said than done in SD.
About five years ago, I found the perfect house for my retirement. It had everything I wanted; located on the canal, large rooms, huge stone fireplace, old wide plank oak floors, in the town I wanted to live in. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc.
It was a foreclosure, and there were three people bidding on it. Someone else got the house, and I was sorely disappointed, because houses I could afford in that town were (and still are) rare as hen's teeth.
It never crossed my mind, though, to harass or even hate the person who got it!
This woman is psycho! I believe that family is wise to still be on their guard.
I wonder how she could afford to buy another house when she supposedly lost her job and her husband doesn't work? Strange.
Good God I hope this is the most disturbing story I read today. I had to stop after seeing the part about the guy showing up, then she encouraged him to go back.

Sickening - this woman is a P.O.S. scum bag, and should be locked up. And, instead, she gets an interview?! Amazing.
The reason she isn't is clearly because she's female & there's an obvious gender bias in favor of women & against men. If this had been a man - even if he had a child he needed to take care of - he would have been locked up, no question.
