Direct your anger into stamping out the root cause - hate, intolerance, and probably mental illness (from your posts that got deleted, something tells me you think the root cause lies elsewhere). If not, you are part of the problem, not the solution.
It's hard to root out what you can't see.

As a foreign contributor to these boards; I would choose to refrain from the usual banter and instead offer my sincere condolences to the victims, their families and loved ones and to the American people as a whole.
America is absorbing far too many of these types of occasions for them to not have an affect on your psyche as a nation.

Please prevail in spite of these horrendous events.
It is awful! I hope all those in FL who can donate blood will do so. Blood from outside Orlando is being used now, or will be shortly. The other regional blood banks will all need blood as they have had to share.
I admire Gov. Scott for calling the White House to get the HIPPA laws waived so the E. R. Staff could talk to families and others. Props for doing what needed done happen!!
I will be praying and remembering not only the victims, the wounded in the hospital and their families, but also the first responders and their families. These are traumatic events for First Responders too.
Horrible Horrible tragedy but unfortunately the LGBT community in this country has been silent on the treatment of their community members in especially Islamic ran countries. And if the reports are correct that this guy has Islamic State sympathies, then this is the same group that is executing LGBT people in territory they control by brutal means, particularly by throwing them off of high rises strapped to a chair. Now Islamic fundamentalist inspired thoughts and actions are now being homegrowned and acted out!!!

I wish I could donate. Because I was stationed in Italy during the mad cow outbreak I'm not allowed to donate blood. I use to donate 3 times a year.
