Do you think this was planned, or things started happening and they just decided to kind of roll with it, all the drama, the unbelievable encounters.....blah blah blah?

The blonde said they didn't notify the news media. She claimed the coast guard did that. What I suspect is the two woman stretched the real truth to the coast guard, and once the news media got wind of it, they couldn't go back on their word without looking like dorks. So they played along, pretending to have a much worse time of it than they did. Once the story snowballed into headline news, the women saw money in their future. One lie leads to another, but unfortunately for them, none of us believes a word of it... and neither do they.
That's what I think happened. I think they were having a blast on that boat. Maybe at some point the boat became disabled, but the fact that they didn't signal for help is telling.
Besides, for having only eaten oatmeal and (I forget what else) for months, they look pretty healthy.
i wonder if they had some fish. i haven't heard anyone say anything about fish.
i was just thinking, i dated a guy who lived on his sailboat, he still does as far as i know. he had a little barbeque screwed onto the back railing of his boat and we bbq'd stuff all the time on his boat, sometimes fish. it was really quite romantic to make the meal like that and eat on the boat. i have seen barbeque's on boats everywhere. of course it doesn't have to be bbq'd, they could cook it in the galley. but it just struck me, i wonder if they ate fish that they caught on their own. i only hear about oatmeal and pasta.
I suspect that Appel was born a male. I mean, look at that male face and male body with the bad boob job. This adds another story to her future book.
'She' certainly is one of the most masculine looking woman I've ever seen and the perfectly round little grapefruit boobs don't do anything to dispel it.
The blonde one wanted to start an organic farm in French Polynesia? Did she have a French residency visa??? She supposedly wanted to start a new life there?
