I live right by there. Is this place a bar? A restaurant?

What's the age range? I used to be in a divorce meetup.com group but quit because it was such a meat market.

Thank you. I know about the creeps. A good friend got mixed up with one in a weak moment. It was bad.

SO TRUE! My next husband just might be obese, LOL - I am SO over the guys who are more worried about their looks than most women are!

After about a week of sifting through truckers and handymen and laborers (I'm more of an "entrepreneur" type of girl) I threw up my hands and closed out my profile. It wasn't worth the trouble.

It sounds like TXNGL's success rate was 1:1zillion so not very good odds there either.

I still maintain that there are great options in every major city and moving to a completely new place to start from scratch in search of a partner is not a very good reason. If you have a great career opportunity in Dallas, it would make sense to relocate from Reno and go from there. Otherwise, stay in Reno with your existing network of friends and perhaps enlist them to help you find someone. After all, they know you better than any algorithm.
If only Reno were a nice place to live, I would stay here. Given that it's not, I'm moving to Dallas later this year.

Had that too, NOT that there's anything wrong with that! It was my pic, I'm sure. One of the best I ever took. I got sick of all the hits, realizing it was the pic, and posted another wearing a t-shirt, no make-up, and readers. God help me I think they liked that one even better! Librarian fantasy? So anyhoo, I weeded...and weeded...and weeded...and it was a job. Funniest hit I got was from a very large bubba wearing overalls and riding a tractor. My girlfriends and I laughed and laughed. So there was some great cheap entertainment. Since I had already been married and was not interested in procreating, I was in no hurry.

Wow, I guess a well educated white collar professional with a great sense of humor, solid family background and plenty of friends testifying to his credit would come across as so completely unbelievable among that sort of deluge that he would immediately be discarded as a total fake.
