I think practically everyone is annoyed by that, perhaps including many of those in that situation, themselves. The difference are within what we each propose to do about it.
I just don't believe that it's even possible to eat 33,000 calories every day on a food stamp budget. I don't know where this lady is getting all of that food from but she is eating enough calories for 15 or more people (who eat over 2, 000 cals each/day) - every day. To illustrate how enormous her food calorie intake is: a person doing a 1,200 calorie/day diet eats 36,000 calories in an entire month.
I just doubt very seriously that the government is footing the bill for this woman's eating problems. I have no idea how she affords to eat like, where the food is coming from, etc. But I don't think it's food stamps...and actually I wonder how accurate that daily calorie intake figure is, as it just does not seem *humanly* possible to eat that much in one day.
(I was given a box of Twinkies as a gag gift some time ago and they are in my pantry now. 1 Twinkie has 150 calories, a box of Twinkies has 10 cakes in it for a total of 1,500 calories per box. This woman would need to be eating 22 boxes of Twinkies - that's 220 Twinkies - every day to be getting 33,000 cals from just Twinkies. That would mean eating over 9 Twinkies every hour for 24 hours straight, or a Twinkie every 6 or 7 minutes non-stop for 24 hrs straight - every day. Is that even possible?)

I used to weigh 360 lbs. I've lost A TON of weight in the last year and am becoming very physically active.
People who are THAT morbidly obese have mental problems that most people don't have and can never experience. I believe I had those mental problems but luckily I've been able to overcome them.

Mental or physiological problems.
And, even though you have lost a ton of weight, you've only passed the first test. The second test evaluates your ability to keep it off forever.
People who carry excess weight can suffer from the same afflictions as anyone else. Not all heavy people who use scooters are doing so because of their weight. I use a walker, rather than a scooter, but I don't do it because of being overweight. I have nerve damage in my spine, which despite having lost 50 pounds a few years ago I still have and always will. So, why don't you get off your judgemental high-horse and get educated!

He left the clinic, went home, gained his weight back.
One time in Vegas, I was at a casino, eating at the buffet, and saw these obese people, riding their scooters around the buffet, loading their plates. Come on, if you are so obese you cannot walk....maybe being at a buffet is not a good idea. Just saying.
This lady is not typical. We're all responsible for our own health. For most people they choose to be unhealthy. Everyone knows what foods are unhealthy to eat. Everyone knows they should exercise. People choose not to. I think a lot of people choose not to because they just don't care. So many people are fat it's not like they even stand out for being overweight. They'd rather eat McDonalds for dinner and sit on the couch watching TV than cook a healthy dinner and actually go for a walk or do something active. I wouldn't be nasty to an over weight person because that's their choice, but I don't respect them for the way they choose to live their life. In my opinion, someone who chooses to eat poorly and not exercise doesn't respect themselves, so why should I? No wonder health costs are so high. I don't think I should have to pay for someone else's poor choices. I wish overweight people would own up to their decisions. Everyone needs food to eat, true, but you do NOT need Big Macs and Cheetos to live. Obesity is an epidemic and an expensive one. I don't think it's okay to just accept that's the way it is now and have some kind of curvy and big is beautiful attitude. Being overweight shouldn't be acceptable.
