Thats the problem with nutering so young. Also I found if thier is only 1 Boy in the family they tend to be late to figure it out....no one to teach them How to be a boy syndrome.
Hey Dazzle was not neutered until he was almost a year and he still seldoms lifts his leg even around all his pals and he is around a ton of big time leg lifters at the dog park and Beach. I sort of like it as I do not have to worry about him peeing on people like so many other owners do. He really is not into marking things either, Chaos is the marker! Dazzle says leg lifting is over rated!
As to Davey Long legs will there be a party to celebrate this milestone? You Go boy! ( just be careful where you go!)
Oh LTTP - they do grow up too fast. Davey is a big boy now! Just make sure he is peeing on what he is aiming at. If he is like my guys...their aim could use a little adjustment!

At age 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, Davey-Long-Legs hiked his leg on a bush.......
has always squatted like a puppy when he pees and never shown the SLIGHTEST interest in marking anything..... both of which I attribute to being neutered at 8 weeks old......
HAHAHA, this one made me chuckle. We had a hound that was 10 years old and NEVER lifted his leg ever. We thought he was always too lazy to pp like a boy.
