Cry me a river. I'm so sick and tired of the right using this, "Poor me we are the VICTIMS of this leftist media" card. It's just so wrong it makes me barf. The facts are that these azzhats bring it on themselves with their half baked idiocies. When you are a political movement who's real ajenda is to protect the 1% at all costs, even at the detriment of the entire country you can only fool those who can't or won't think for themelves. The people in the general media are not stupid enough or unaware enough about REALITY to fall for all the blustering blunder coming out of the mouths of the right wing.

You know, I watch and read a lot of international news sources. Those sources with no axe to grind at all. They tell it exactly as they see it. The way they see it is just the same as the American maimstream media sees it. EXCEPT of course Fox news who seems to have their own "Separate reality".

I guess that the entire world media must be as you call it, "A leftist propaganda unit".LOL. That is just soooo lame.

Does it not tell you something when the entire slate of candidates for the GOP are just such a collection of trash. There is not one single decent conservative who will run for a party that is bankrupt in so many ways. So. who's left. A corporate raider who by definition is a parasite of the first degree. A former disgraced speaker of the house, serial adulterer, liar, lobbiest extrodinare and many other unsavoury things. One extreme Roman Catholic. What would come first for him? The constitution of the USA or that of the RC church and the Pope in Rome???? And lastly, a liberatrian of such extreme views that he dwells way out there in outer space, a different universe actually.

and you wonder why the media seems to find fault????????????????????????

I actually hope that poster is a troll, someone just trying to stir s**t up, because I find the idea that someone could really think like that very, very disturbing......and sad.

Of course, we could go back to the studies done comparing conservatives with liberals in the areas of empathy and compassion. That poster could very well speak for most conservatives - he/she just happened to be one hateful enough to actually say it.

Yet many in the media and on the left (and the less bright of his GOP competition) seize on the "not concerned about the very poor" comment and take it out of context. How weak-minded are these people? Are they unable to comprehend anything beyond one sentence sound bites? Are they unable to comprehend a simple sentence and context?
Of course the dems/left and their willing accomplices in the media will run with it, replay it out of context and high five with glee on such a gaffe.

It's not going to hurt Romney much in my opinion because people dependent on welfare, housing subsidies, food stamps, etc. are going to vote Democrat anyway. Romney has a point, too. The worst place to be is the lower "middle class" where you make just too much to qualify for any kind of government assistance and struggle to exist more than the ones termed officialy "poor". That's one reason we have so many willfully unemployed because they receive more in benefits than they could make by working.

Not everyone is a gifted orator like Obama or Bill Clinton. Judge them by their deeds, not their words.

And what "deeds" should I judge Mittens by?

Romneycare?

Driving for twelve hours with a poor dog in a box, tied to the roof of his car? The poor dog so terrified, it crapped all down the sides of the car?

Paying less than 14% in income taxes?

That, instead of keeping his money in American banks where it could be put to work in this country, he tucks it away in Swiss and Cayman banks?

What other "deeds" should I judge him by?

Yes...the utter lack of compassion and human connection is stunning. When Mitt spoke of not worrying "about the very poor," he went on to say "We'll hear about the very poor from the Democratic Party..." Of course,
because only the Democrats care enough to try to make sure that the
safety net Mitt speaks of exists. The GOP fights them every step of the way, and it won't become clear to rank and file Republicans until the economy affects them or someone in their family or circle of friends, if then.

Another comment taken completely out of context.

Read the entire conversation instead of listening to the American hating Larry Odonnell who ran this last night to death.

This hateful idiot needs to be deported for his lies and Obama style hate mongering.

Libs are scared and need to make up lies like this?

People are not stupid and know Obama the welfare king has put more people on welfare, food stamps and into poverty then any President in history.

So is it safe to say that Obama does not care for the poor since he seems to have driven more people to below the poverty level then anyone else.

Guess Obama does not care about the poor with his record.

Again, it was conservative bloggers and talk radio that had the most to say about his comments.
