To the ad “MITT ROMNEY KILLED MY WIFE” the Romney campaign has to respond somehow, right?
Well they did, actually, and they did actually respond with legitimately good advice! This advice was: people who need good health care should move to Massachusetts, because they have universal coverage there, thanks to Governor Romney. Wait, what?
Burton tried to defend the Ad, he could not. He did present that in 97 Romney renegotiated the workers contracts and promised that they would never lose their retirement or HC. If that is true, why was that not the gist of the Ad? This will hurt Obama unless he steps up. The only good thing is that Romney himself is worse at the truth than Burton.
One of Obama's super PACs released another disgusting and false attack ad against Mitt Romney today.
The ad features a guy who worked at a steel company in Kansas City who claims Mitt Romney closed down the plant and he lost his health insurance. Then his Wife died of cancer as a result of that.
First of all...the ad DISGUSTINGLY politicizes the death of this poor lady!! I guess politicizing her death is OK for the Left. Heck, it all but insinuates that Romney is guilty of 2nd degree murder!
But then, as if that's not bad enough, the ad is SO full of lies that it turns ones stomach......
a) The steel plant closed YEARS AFTER Romney left Bain Capital
b) When the steel plant closed, an OBAMA BUNDLER was in charge of Bain Capital
c) This guy's Wife died 4 years AFTER the plant closed and 6 years after Romney left Bain.
d) If that were today, what would Obama have done? Obama's IRS would TAX him for not having health insurance adding insult to injury
e) He says in the ad that he took his Wife to the hospital and she was admitted...so she DID get health care despite not having insurance
d) If this were today, would Obama have prevented her cancer or cured her?
f) Do you think those GM Dealers who Obama closed down, or the Gulf Oil Drillers who Obama put out of work also lost their health care as a result of Obama's policies? Some of them may have even had family members that died of cancer....is Obama responsible?
I heard this today.
It's nothing short of disgusting, Obama is more to blame and Romney had nothing to do with it at all.
Another Obama lie, just like every communication from him and his camp.

Thing about Romney camp, they seem to have a collective case of "Dancing Hoof in Mouth Disease".
OMG....this story just gets more and more embarrassing for Obama!!!!!
It turns out that the guy in the video, Soptic was offered by Bain to buy-out his job before the plant closed!! On a DEMOCRATIC cable TV program too!!!
The Obama campaign is forced to pretend that the Obama Super PAC responsible for yesterday’s smear heard ’round the world is entirely independent of it rather than a wholly owned subsidiary. What you’re about to see is the absurdity of that fiction taken to its logical conclusion. So eager is lifelike talking-points robot Stephanie Cutter to keep the campaign’s fingerprints off the cheap lies in the PAC ad that she claims at 4:00 in the video not to know the facts about when Soptic’s wife got sick or when she died.
Minor problem: The campaign itself featured Soptic in not one but two ads several months ago and had him tell the story of his wife’s death after he lost his insurance during a conference call with — ta da — Stephanie Cutter.

Yeah, that bad Obama. Romney plays so fair and never twists words, nor lies on his ads with cut sound bites that are taken totally out of context. Right? Give me a break! Romeny's the complete and utter disgrace and liar like no other. Quote.... "I don't know what I said, but I stand by what I said whatever it was that I said". The guy has know clue what the hell heck he believes in anymore. The Tea Party has this man so twisted up like a pretzel.
On the whole, I absolutely disagree with dishonest ads from BOTH sides. The connection between this woman's death and Bain is spurious at best, and blatantly dishonest at worst. I certainly don't support it or condone it.
That said, it's a super-PAC ad. If people have a problem with it, do something about Citizens United. This is what unfettered, untraceable, unlimited amounts of cash in public campaigning gets you. The lowest common denominator with no accountability.
Frankly, unless it says "My name is Barrack Obama and I approve this message" at the end, I really don't give it much weight.
Of course, the Romney campaign's choice to cite his Massachusetts health reforms as an antidote to this sort of thing is just priceless.
Anyone who thinks Romney, if by some chance he wins, is going to repeal Obamacare is going to be grossly disappointed.
