THIS is the time when MOST people actually begin to pay attention.....just because YOU are active enough and post on political forums doesn't mean the large sector of the electorate that only cares about what the Kardashians are wearing today do.
The way you insult a large sector of the electorate with your statement, it makes me wonder if you work for the Romney campaign.
The man lost his job and health insurance. Because these people no longer could afford health insurance, his wife did not seek timely medical help for her symptoms ultimately leading to her untimely death.
"Untimely" maybe for Obama's ad that is......
She died 7 years AFTER Romney had left Bain, but that's Romney's fault?

I read the Liberal Washington Posts "reasoning" for calling it a lie. And as always, I read it in complete disbelief at the extent to which they will carry water for Obama.
They even say that the order smells very fishy and then turn around and say Romney's ad lies.
They use as an example of a "lie" Romney saying that Obama's order guts the work for welfare standard.
Then they say:
The ENTIRE change is meant to weaken the welfare law!!! It CERTAINLY isn't to make it HARDER!!
The legitimate concerns is leaving it up to the STATES to determin eligibility something that ROMNEY supported in 2005. It is NOT to weaken WELFARE and as usual you and others are trying to explain away Romneys false claim.
I find it laughable, Republicans always scream State Control and when this admin give them what they wanted its a problem.

I really wouldn't EXPECT any critical thinking on your part due to your obvious euphoria surrounding anything Obama does or says.

If so, why was it dumped on a Friday afternoon with all the other stuff administrations dump when they hope no one will notice?
He should have held a press conference announcing it if it was so great. Of course, Obama hasn't held a press conference and accepted any questions in 7 weeks (and it' sbeen 6 Months since he met with his Jobs Council and it's been since January that he has found time between golf outings to meet with his Cabinet).
Absolutely. I think most if not all voters have made up their mind. Let's get the election over with!
The amount of money being spent by all sources is obscene. Take that money and donate it to a good cause. One which will benefit people more than television networks.

In some ways, I think we are still using 20th C political strategies in a 21st C election. People have become savvy enough at this point in time to get online and do some research and find out the truth. These silly, mountain out of molehill (and sometimes, clearly misleading or even verging on slanderous) ads are not even being paid attention to. It is pretty unsophisticated junk being pandered to an overall digitally sophisticated populace.
Now, folks over 80 may still actually notice those ads (especially anyone who is not online). But good grief - the latest survey showed that the majority of people over age 80 were online!
Slamming your opponent or insinuating dirty little secrets is just not working in 2012.
People want to know what a candidate has DONE - what EXPERIENCE - what are his PLANS.
But really - in this particular election - even that isn't crucial info . . . cause people already know who they are voting for!
Just think - with all those millions of $$$ . . . what could have happened if the money was used to give out scholarships to worthy college students? Or out of work folks who need more training to switch career fields? Or elderly folks who could use an air conditioner? Or the ALS foundation, for research?

Well, in his defense, it's kind of like the Pavlov Dog syndrome. In this case, the bell is the name Obama in conjunction with the word Welfare, results in uncontrollable immediate predictable effect. Err.... sadly.
