He knew!!!! You don't get people to work for $4.00 and $5.00 an hour to tear a building down unless they are undocumented aka illegal aliens to you. He certainly knew it when he fought the lawsuit when he (not some private agency) got sued for trying to stiff them out paying the workers for all the hours they worked.

Rich people who own many corporations don't get involved in the hiring or the pay scale of low waged workers. They have people who do it for them. Hopefully he has fired his employees who hired the illegal aliens.

I see. If a rich man accepts a bid to tear a building down for one quarter of the cost that six other companies have bid the job out for the rich guy has "people" who are suppose to look the other way FOR HIM so that when HE signs the contract he can claim he didn't know the low bid was paying for undocumented workers. He knew.

Maybe he should tell the whole truth, that illegals come here because people hire them illegally and profit from their work, and it continues because those responsible for the hiring may pay a fine but aren't placed in jail where they belong.

That goes without saying, doesn't it? That's not the only reason they come here though and they aren't all working. It is the fault of some of our politicians who won't clamp down on these employers. The Democrats are bucking e-verify all the way. But yes, the employers are partially responsible but the illegal aliens are equally guilty as no one drags them over the border to work here and they also know right from wrong.

Sure some of them know but some don't either and it is merely your opinion that Trump knew and I gather it is because you don't like him or the GOP.

Tell ya this, pal...I'm not in the ''dense'' group. And I'll venture that Trump knows he's not going to be the nominee. He might want to run as a 3rd Party guy...eventually. Not sure.

But, IMO, Trump's Goal is to expose the vile Rats who are possible ones who might Win. The man has Tons of knowledgeable Info on these Suspect candidates....and when he finishes elaborating about the facts regarding most of their 'questionable character' ...or lack of, the public may have a much clearer view of these ''phony Populist's''...etc.

Trump's not a dummy, and he Can have dynamic Impact in next year's Campaign...and outcome. Fact is....he Already has !! - And that's a Good Thing.

Trump says just "some" (he assumes) are good people but the majority are drug dealers and rapists. He also makes the idiotic statement that Mexico "sends" people to the US - like the Mexican government has checklist: "Rapist? Check, we'll put you on the next bus".
I'd be surprised if the contract didn't have a relevant out - like sports stars who can be fired for bad behavior. Two entertainers have also back out. Trump's pageant and Apprentice are also at risk of being hit with an advertising boycott.
Thats not a racist comment

Try again.

DEAL SEALED IN TRUMP TOWER SUIT - NY Daily News

Trump fought it for 16 years but finally in 1999 lost a lawsuit where he had underpaid immigrant workers.

1990: Donald J. Trump took the witness stand yesterday to deny seven-year-old charges that he knowingly used 200 undocumented workers to demolish the old Bonwit Teller building to make way for Trump Tower, the glittering centerpiece of his real-estate empire.

The workers, many of them undocumented immigrants, sweated through round-the-clock shifts and some even slept on the floors of the building they were demolishing. They were promised $4 to $5 an hour, but many were stiffed for even those low wages.

In earlier testimony to show the Trump organization knew about the undocumented workers, John Szabo, an immigration lawyer who represented them, said someone who said his name was Mr. Baron telephoned on behalf of the Trump organization in 1980 and threatened to sue him if he did not drop the workers' claims of back payments.

Mr. Trump acknowledged yesterday that he and one of his executives have used the name John Baron in some of their business dealings. He did not explain. And he was not asked about Mr. Szabo's allegation.
Trump doesnt hire employees, he hires general contractors who then goes and hires sub contractors..

I mean, really? This is how the nonsense begins, people start posting ignorant assumptions and then argue its the truth.

Did you even look at the lawsuit? Trump wasnt even a defendant..

Diduck Vs Kaszycki & Sons.. NOT TRUMP

I had to reread your responses in this thread several times. I couldn't believe that you, who as far as I can tell has never written a post that ISN'T railing against undocumented workers, is willing to give Trump a pass on knowingly hiring them (and then trying to stiff them, which is a whole other level of *******). Think about this, Oldglory. The cost of the job was vastly under all other bids because they were paying their workers way below the normal wage. What did Trump think, that they were working for peanuts because they liked him so much?

If Trump DIDN'T know that he was hiring undocumented workers for that kind of wage then he is too stupid to be president. He knew. But it saved him money, so he didn't care until he got caught.

Isn't that what you've been posting about--that we need to go after employers who knowingly hire them? That if they can't find work they will stop coming in such great numbers? E-verify and all that?

If you of all people still support this guy then you have proven that you don't really care about the one and only issue you post about over and over again if someone you like comes along. HIM, you will make all kinds of excuses for. There's a word for that--hypocrite.
