I bet if CNN reached out and offered him a "town hall" event to be broadcast at the same time as the FOX debate, more people would tune in to CNN. That is power of "TRUMP".

If he surrounds himself with the best why did his ad people put out three commercials with footage that wasn't what the ads claimed it was, the latest being the decorated veteran from the wrong country?

If he can't handle a debate with rules and/or a moderator he doesn't like he can't handle the harder issues and people he'd have to deal with as president. We don't need a prima donna.

Why should a candidate get to dictate what is essentially a business decision to a company he doesn't own? No one is holding a gun to a candidate's head to be at a debate. The whole purpose of the debates is to give Americans an opportunity to see how a person holds up under pressure and we just found out that Trump folds like a cheap tent. He was trying to grandstand by showing he could negotiate the terms of any debate and this time it didn't work. Poor baby boy.

After all, one of Megyn Kelly's questions that he found oh so meanie weanie:

"Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is you speak your mind and you don't use a politician's filter. However, that is not without its downsides, in particular, when it comes to women. You've called women you don't like 'fat pigs,' 'dogs,' 'slobs' and 'disgusting animals.' ...

Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women's looks. You once told a contestant on 'Celebrity Apprentice' it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees.

Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president, and how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who was likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?"

And yet, rather than apologize, he doubles down and calls Megyn Kelly a "bimbo" and is now throwing a temper tantrum, taking his ball, and going home.

I would never condone calling a person a name - whether it was Bush or now all the ridiculous, childish names people call Obama - but in Trump's case it's entirely appropriate. After all, that's how he interacts with his world. Why should we hold ourselves to a higher standard?

Hey, at least without that divisive, 'know-nothing' loudmouth up there, the candidates will finally be able to discuss the real issues!

so the flagship of the "Fair and Balanced" 'most-watched' news network in the country is a "bimbo"?
what are the lower-qualified newscasters and analysts they employ?

From Tuesday night just prior to primetime news (yesterday), you and everyone else, will be talking about Donald Trump until Iowa votes. Should the candidates use their precious debate time to rag on Donald Trump, all day Friday everyone will be talking about Donald Trump, not them. Saturday is the day people are least likely to watch TV and the people who watch Sunday morning news shows are the type of people who have already made up their mind about their vote. In effect, Trump will have Hoovered all of the air time since Tuesday evening until the day Iowa votes.

One person is aware of the above. That person is Ted Cruz which is why he immediately challenged Trump to a one on one debate. He needs the attention to focus on him and the only way he will get it is to once again ski in Trump's wake before Iowa votes. Trump should come right out and expose what Cruz is really up to when he refuses to take the bait. I noticed when Cruz threw down the gauntlet he made sure to add that he wanted it to happen before Iowa.

Now for those who don't pay close attention to Trump's speeches and interviews, he tells people over and over again, that when you negotiate you put your have to have item on the table first and if they say "Absolutely not," you get up from the table and walk away. He says the tactic is mentioned in Art of The Deal. He has talked about it frequently when campaigning and in interviews when discussing the Iran deal and the hostages. He said Kerry should have said, we get our hostages first or no negotiating. This business with Fox News is Trump doing exactly what he says he does when negotiating in business.

No. It is being willing to walk away from a bad deal.
